Dart in the Heart Custom Tattoo Design

Image
"Dart in the Heart", I call this piece just because I like playing darts. My dad had given me his professional darts   to practice with. After a few throws and knowing the game I wanted to play more and more each day. Practice makes perfect so, I did and got really good at it. The idea came to me when I came across a drinking game throwing magnet darts to a tin dart board. I thought there has to be people who also throw darts that like tattoos. The art piece was created using Sharpie markers. I need to perfect the medium but I think it came out pretty damn good if you ask me. If you like the art or would like to make a comment please do so and I will return the favor if you leave your blog link. Thank you for stopping by my blog and please follow the blog because i will be adding more art work to the blog as I create them. Blending With Markers

Using markers as a medium is new to me. I have watched many tattoo art on Youtube.com but never could understand how to use the blending markers until I came across a blog called  " Marker to Marker Blending with the Colorless Blender " By Marianne Walker.  Marianne describes in detail how to blend without contaminating colors by using a colorless blender. This is a new technique to me but one that I will use in future art work. Click on the link above to read her tip on the technique. Artist Earn Money Here!

A Heart and Flower Tattoo

Musical Note Tattoo

Image
Tattoo Musical Note Tattoo | CreateMyTattoo.com Sometimes it is really hard to find things to draw. I read art to exercise my mind so I can come up with new fresh art pieces. By reading art I mean I scan the internet images to find artistic techniques. Then I try to use those techniques in my own art. I don't mean I copy. I don't want infringe on someone elses art. Plus I would be really upset if I saw someone copying my technique or art piece for that matter. This musical note design is my own art piece. I got the idea after seeing some musical notes online as tattoos so, I decided to make up my own tattoo . I added some beautiful swirls in the background and I wanted to add a smoke effect around the note. I thought it truned out pretty good. The microphone was just an add on. I needed to fill in a spot on the paper so I tried to think of something that matched the musical notes. It isn't part of the design just another art piece. I made the musical note black an...

Skull Dagger Tattoo

Image
Skull Dagger Tattoo | CreateMyTattoo.com This is a skull dagger tattoo piercing the skin. The shaded part behind the art is not part of the design. I was trying to make it look like the skin.  As you can already tell most of my work is done in pencil. I am working on revising my designs to look more tattoo friendly. Like using more of a uni-pen or sharpies. The problem is that it is a new medium I am trying because my work looks better in black and white. Color is my biggest issue. I don't know why I am so scare of color but I am willing to step out of my comfort zone to try something different.  Keep coming back to my blog and see the transformation I make from black and white to color. It isn't going to happen over night so please come back and check out the newest pieces I add to the blog. Also, my blog needs some followers and some comments so when you get a chance leave a comment and don't forget that you can find other artist at  Custom Tattoo ...

Eye for an Eye Dagger Tattoo

Image
Eye for an Eye Dagger Tattoo | CreateMyTattoo.com Here is a Dagger Tattoo I call "Eye for an Eye".  Yes, I got the idea from the Bible where it has mentioned, "Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" meaning that a punishment should equal the same as the injury. The eye of the dagger is the injury done by a dagger and therefore the punishment will be taking of an eye with a dagger. The claw of the handle that is holding the eye represents the animal like character of the person or thing that took the eye. Of coarse this is my interpretation of the dagger as I was drawing it. I will be adding flowers to it so it has more life. If you like the art please Follow the blog to get new updated posts on other art pieces I add to the blog. You can also find an artist at Custom Tattoo Designs  to get a custom design tattoo. If you would like to purchase this art go to my profile page by clicking niversart . Tattoo Navy Anchor Tattoo

Image
Military Tattoo Navy Anchor  | CreateMyTattoo.com Here is another military tattoo that I think all you Navy boys will appreciate. This piece is an Anchor with Roses and a banner. I designed this tattoo when My oldest son left for the Navy in 2012. I wanted to design something that would honor all the men and women who serve in the  US Navy. This piece is designed in black and white because I am leaving it up to the person who is going to wear it. There is not much I can say about this art other than it turned out pretty awesome if I might say. Someday I hope to see all my art on someone's body even if it has to be on mine. Enjoy the art as I add them to the blog. I have more to come so, Please follow my blog so you know when i have uploaded a new art piece. Military Cavalry Memorial Tattoo

Image
Tattoo Cav Memorial | CreateMyTattoo.com This Military memorial tattoo was design for a contest at CreateMyTattoo.com . It is more of a Cavalry design with the swords and the spurs. In the United States Army, it is a tradition to earn spurs after a soldier has served in combat with a cavalry division also known as the "Spur Ride". If you would like to read more about the Spur Ride click "Order of the Spur" As you can see I am a huge fan of the Cavalry but I honor any soldier who is prepared to put his life on the line so that my family and I can live in peace. If you know someone who has died in war and would like to honor them, what better way to honor them by getting a tattoo.

Tattoo 1st Cavalry Patch and Ripped Skin

Image
Tattoo 1st Cavalry Patch and Ripped Skin | CreateMyTattoo.com In 1991, I became a soldier in the Untied States Army. I was attached to a 1st Cav. Armory Division at Fort Hood, Texas. My duty was driving the M1A1 Tanks. I only served a 3 year term. Even though I never saw battle, I have a lot of respect for the men and women who risk their lives to defend our country. This tattoo was original designed for myself but I am sure that there is a soldier out there that honors the 1st cav patch. The design of a 1st Cavalry Patch under the skin resembles Loyalty and Honor,  not only the 1st Cav but also to the country we serve and protect. If you would like to show support you can purchase the Tattoo by clicking on the link above. In the comments area tell me where you would like 50% of the proceeds to go to.
