Military Cavalry Memorial Tattoo


This Military memorial tattoo was design for a contest at CreateMyTattoo.com. It is more of a Cavalry design with the swords and the spurs.

In the United States Army, it is a tradition to earn spurs after a soldier has served in combat with a cavalry division also known as the "Spur Ride".

As you can see I am a huge fan of the Cavalry but I honor any soldier who is prepared to put his life on the line so that my family and I can live in peace.

My wife Amy and I had a great weekend together. We stayed at a local hotel on Saturday to celebrate Valentine's because I have to work on Valentine's Day. During our stay I did a temporary tattoo on Amy's back using sharpies. I am really starting to like how the colors come together. 3D Tattoo Cross Wrapped with a Ribbon Design

Hi everyone, here is another tattoo that I designed for a co-worker. The design is a traditional Cross with wrapped with a purple ribbon. It was designed for a shoulder piece to represent the lost of a loved one. The cross has a beveled edge with an inner cut out and a ruby stone in the center to give it a 3D effect. Blending With Markers

Using markers as a medium is new to me. I have watched many tattoo art on Youtube.com but never could understand how to use the blending markers until I came across a blog called  " Marker to Marker Blending with the Colorless Blender " By Marianne Walker.  Marianne describes in detail how to blend without contaminating colors by using a colorless blender.
