Blending With Markers

Using markers as a medium is new to me. I have watched many tattoo art on Youtube.com but never could understand how to use the blending markers until I came across a blog called "Marker to Marker Blending with the Colorless Blender" By Marianne Walker. 

 Marianne describes in detail how to blend without contaminating colors by using a colorless blender. This is a new technique to me but one that I will use in future art work. Click on the link above to read her tip on the technique.

The Valentine Dragon

My wife Amy and I had a great weekend together. We stayed at a local hotel on Saturday to celebrate Valentine's because I have to work on Valentine's Day. During our stay I did a temporary tattoo on Amy's back using sharpies. I am really starting to like how the colors come together. We found a deviant dragon piece on line that she liked and I drew it on her back. The art piece is shown below. 3D Tattoo Cross Wrapped with a Ribbon Design

Hi everyone, here is another tattoo that I designed for a co-worker. The design is a traditional Cross with wrapped with a purple ribbon. It was designed for a shoulder piece to represent the lost of a loved one. The cross has a beveled edge with an inner cut out and a ruby stone in the center to give it a 3D effect.
